Case study / Global accelerator

40+ startups. Less pitch theatre, more business logic.

As Head of Program at Cointelegraph Accelerator, Paul Krügel led a global program for more than 40 technology and Web3 startups, connecting positioning, GTM, partnerships, pitch, and investor readiness.

The starting point

A global accelerator portfolio brings together very different business models, maturity levels, and technical categories. A fixed curriculum can easily create activity without improving the decision.

The critical question was how teams could reach the core of their commercial risks, market position, and credible next milestones faster.

02

The work

Paul led the program across AI, fintech, blockchain infrastructure, gaming, and other digital-technology startups. He advised founders on business models, positioning, marketing, business development, partnerships, pitch narratives, and investor readiness.

The work produced reusable workshop and GTM playbooks, pitch formats, and structured reviews. The pattern remained consistent: expose assumptions, separate risk from opportunity, and connect the next step to an inspectable business outcome.

03

The operating proof

The role combined accelerator work with direct business development. In the Cointelegraph growth context, more than ten partnerships generating over USD 4M in revenue were closed across Q2 to Q4 2025.

That combination matters to FoundMatter: investor readiness does not end at the deck. It must translate into market, partnerships, sales motion, usable evidence, and capital logic.
