Accessibility statement
FoundMatter's accessibility target, current status and feedback route.
Updated: 23 August 2026
Paul Krügel aims to make FoundMatter accessible under applicable Austrian accessibility law and with reference to EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
1. Scope and target
This statement covers the FoundMatter website and web application at foundmatter.com. The target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA for public and authenticated interfaces.
2. Conformance status
FoundMatter is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Public, account and core workspace journeys use semantic structure, visible focus, labelled forms, textual errors and responsive layouts. No complete external audit has yet been performed.
3. Known limitations
- Complex workspace and data views have not yet been tested across a complete set of screen-reader and browser combinations.
- Some dynamic status changes may not yet be fully announced by assistive technology.
- External documents and websites are outside our direct control.
- German and English experiences remain under continuing review.
4. Feedback
Send the affected URL, a brief description and, if possible, browser and assistive technology to paul@foundmatter.com with subject “Accessibility”. We aim to respond within 14 days and offer an alternative where possible.
5. Market surveillance
For services within the Austrian Accessibility Act, concerns can be sent to the central market-surveillance authority at the Social Ministry Service, Upper Austria office: bafg@sozialministeriumservice.gv.at. See the Austrian Social Ministry.
6. Preparation and review
This statement is based on a self-assessment of semantic structure, keyboard operation, focus, contrast and responsive layout. It is reviewed at least annually and after material changes.
